So I have a cousin in NC who sent me a link to a blog almost a year ago now. I always thought "wow, what a great way to keep everyone informed of the cute everyday things". Yes it has taken me almost a year and probably doing at the busiest time - but I finally have gotten it started. We will see how this goes!
In October we moved into a bigger house. It was built in 2005 and the previous owners were only there a year - and thank goodness they took great care of it. The basement for the most part is complete - just needs paint and carpet. Love the house - of course there are things that we want to change but all in all it is a great house. We miss our old neighborhood though - we had such fun there. As much as I love to paint I was only able to paint the guest bath and Ashley's room and then we got the news that we are expecting our 2nd child. Thank goodness we are in a bigger house. The due date is July 7th of right now - but we are seeing if that will change.
One of Larry's projects right now is taking down the wood deck in the back and replacing it with a patio. The deck they had put up didn't have any railings, almost 3 feet off the ground and Ashley was getting splinters - not fun! So thru the next couple of weeks - weather pending - we are hoping to get that done. Along with painting the new baby's bedroom.
At this point I have been trying to talk to Ashley about other babies. We watch "A Baby Story" on TLC in the mornings and she just loves when the babies are born. I ask her "Ashley, what's in mommies tummy?" She says baby - but I know she has no idea that is what really is in there. As we get the babies room set up I hope she will start to understand a little more.
So that's where we are today. Now that I think I know what I am doing I will start adding pictures and updates on our day to day stuff.
