Hailey Is Getting Ready

I had an appointment to have an inversion (a procedure to turn the baby when it is breach) done today. Checked in at the hospital, got into the fancy nightgown they give you and just as they were about to put the IV in the nurse says "Let's do an ultrasound real quick". Thank Goodness! Sure enough Hailey turned on her own - yahoo!!
My doctor then took me to her office and we did a stress test - measures the heartbeat of the baby. While we were doing it I had SEVERAL contractions!! She even asked is I wanted to go back up the the labor and delivery area - yikes! I told her we had to wait at least until Wednesday - Stacy and Cody are coming!!
So good news is she is ready - just hoping she can wait a few more days - yes I just said that. All this time I have been waiting and now I want her too!

Finally we have a Retaining Wall

At the end of April we decided that we were going to hire a landscaper to do a retaining wall in our backyard. The backyard has a pretty big hill to it and we don't have grass all the way up the hill. So we picked a landscaper, then we had a big snow storm and the guy wasn't supposed to start until May 13th. Well May 13th came and went and no landscaper. He finally showed up two weeks later and I asked "How long will this take" - "2 days he says". Remember the movie Money Pit with Tom Hanks - that is what it felt like. 2 days turned into almost 2 months. Then the guy runs out of material and tries to tell us he is done. So it is 9pm and Larry is out in the backyard with his spotlight fighting with the guy about what still needs to be done. I am happy to say after all this he came and finished the job - and did more just to make us happy. Thank Goodness!! So now we have a retaining wall - Yahoo!! Larry is in the process of taking all of the bad dirt out so we can put in good dirt and plant some bushes, flowers, and finally my vegetable garden will be back!!
